4-H activities are in full swing
After school most days, the Robertson County Extension Office comes alive with teams of 4-H kids honing their competition skills.
From horse judging to learning all there is to know about wool, groups of kids of varying ages and from many different 4-H clubs come to the building on Highway 46 in Franklin to test their knowledge and prepare for competition.
Hard work and practice paid off for the horse judging teams coached by Onny Ezzell, which recently competed at the San Antonio Stock Show. The senior team placed tenth, while the junior team finished eighth.
