Franklin Food Pantry receives support
The Franklin Food Pantry moved one step closer to reaching its financial goal Tuesday. Donald Threadgill presented a check for $875 on behalf of Hochheim Prairie Insurance, Branch 219, which donated to the pantry’s building fund.
Threadgill is on the Texas-based insurance company’s charitable board. He requested the donation, which was the maximum amount he was allowed to give.
“I’d heard they were building a new facility, so we wanted to give them a donation for their hard work and what they do for the community,” he said.
