Now that’s a parade

Friends and family gathered around the Robertson County Courthouse as a steady stream of 31 entrants, some with several vehicles made their way through the parade route on December 1.

Brad Leamon served as MC for the event as everyone from the Varsity Lions to the Franklin Police Department, the American Legion and Allen Samuels waved and greeted onlookers. Candy flew from all the floats and many attendees came from around the county including the Wheelock FD and Hearne FD.

The Franklin Lions club served up chili and Frito pies as well as hot dogs and soft drinks during the event.
