Polish Pickle Run brings in runners and rain
Dark skies and light rain greeted runners Saturday morning at the 29th Annual Polish Pickle 5K Run in Bremond.
Participants lined up at 8:00 a.m. on Main Street to run just over three miles for a medal, and for the first place winners, a jar of pickles.
Supporters lined up with umbrellas in hand to cheer on their runners.
A few dogs finished the 5K, although it was hard to tell which pups ran, were carried, or rode in wagons or strollers.
