Commissioner’s put burn ban in effect
The Commissioners for Robertson County met with discussion concerning early voting going on for the constitutional amendments. The voting locations are in Franklin at the Election Office, Calvert at the Firehouse, Redmond at JP4, and Hearse is at the Depot.
Duba Brewer, County Tax Assessor-Collector, informed the Court that the County tax statements have been mailed out to the public.
Mr. Threadgill, Commissioner for Precinct 2, requested a resolution to TDOT, to restrict all permitted overweight and oversized traffic on Highway 50 in front of Mumford Schools during the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m and 3:00 p.m.to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, when school is in session. The court unanimously approved the resolution due to safety concerns for school children and parents.
