Food Pantry receives needed donation

The Franklin Food Pantry, which was partially destroyed by the tornado on April 13 received a large contribution from Hawkwood Entergy this past Tuesday.

Jim Blount along with Joe Johnson, Matt Schielacle and John Harris presented a $10,000.00 donation directly to the food pantry to help with the rebuild process of the facility.

Franklin City Council member Furman Richards was on hand to accept the check. “This donation will go a long way to helping get the food pantry back to helping the community,” said Richards.
