Franklin Supermarket gives donation to the Franklin Food Bank
Ferman Richard, Director of Robertson County Care, Inc., recently accepted a $5,000 donation from the Franklin Supermarket for the Food Pantry Building Project.
In accepting the check, Richard thanked owner Rex Vickers for the support of the pantry over the last 20 years.
“Not only does the supermarket provide us with paper and plastic bags for our grocery distribution, the store also give us space each year in their freezers for storage of our holiday turkeys and hams. They’ve always been a big help to us, and we’re very grateful.”
