It takes a village to help the community

During the past few months, the Franklin Food Pantry has received so much support from the local community in the form of cash donations and food donations.

In October, the New Baden-Camp Creek Lions Club held a drive for food and nonfood items to help stock the pantry. They also made a cash donation to the pantry.

In early November, the Garden Club met at the pantry for a tour of the facility. Each member brought some personal care items to help stock the pantry’s closet and also mad a cash donation. Also Luminant employees held a food drive at the local plant and donated the food to the pantry.
