New Heavy Brush / Light Rescue truck on the way
It’s been a long time coming according to the Franklin Volunteer Fire Department (FVFD) which has been approved for their second grant from the Texas Forestry Service (TFS).
The grant, a $200,000.00 with 10% contributed by the Robertson County Emergency Service District on behalf of the FVFD means a brand new Heavy Brush / Light Rescue vehicle build to the FVFD specifications.
The vehicle itself is proposed to be a 4 door, International that will carry 500 gallons of water along with brand new light off road rescue equipment including state of the art battery operated equipment.
