South American creatures visit library

From soft and fuzzy to cute and cuddly, animals dominated the scene at the Robertson County Carnegie Library in Franklin during the Creature Teacher’s recent visit.

The Dallas area Creature Teacher has been entertaining and educating children about wildlife for 18 years, according to the company’s web site. Belinda Henry took over as the Creature Teacher in 2011, and she was on hand with her animal entourage as part of the library’s summer events series.

“Do you guys like animals?” Henry asked the young audience, getting an enthusiastic response.
