TAME science comes to Franklin

A traveling 40-foot trailer that houses science and engineering exhibits for elementary and middle school students rolled into Franklin Friday morning.

The Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) Trailblazer stopped at the Robertson County Carnegie Library to give kids a chance to explore science.

As Texas’ only interactive science and engineering museum on wheels, the Trailblazer attracts a lot of attention wherever it goes.

Kids enjoyed learning about medicine, energy, weather, aerodynamics, space and biotechnology in the museum. Local volunteers followed a short training program in order to man the various stations and help the students.
