Big bangs and thunderous thuds filled the night sky in Franklin

Fireworks, hot dogs, snow cones, fellowship, and good family fun were on the agenda Wednesday evening at The Franklin Ranch. After much planning and work the Franklin Community Firework Show was finally a reality.

People started placing claim on the best spot to watch the fireworks by 6:30 p.m. The kids were running and playing and the adults were visiting and eating.

Everyone was all dressed up in their patriotic red, white, and blue and the smell of the free hot dogs cooking on the grill made their mouths water imagining how good they would be. It is rumored that a thousand hot dogs were cooked thanks to the Little Dribblers group.
