Food Pantry ready open business

The Robertson County Care, Franklin Food Pantry had good reason to celebrate on Thursday, November 2. Ferman Richard, RCCI Director, welcomed the community to their new home and thanked everyone for coming to the very special occasion and expressed appreciation to the hundreds of people for their part in making this long-time dream come true.

Area ministers including Pastor R.F. Richard, of A Secret Place Family Worship Center, Brother Bob Wimberly, of Southside Baptist Church, and Brother Blan Chrane, of Franklin Church of Christ, participated in the dedication with prayers of thanksgiving and scriptures. Rev. Polly Standing of the Franklin United Methodist Church, gave a short history of the founding of the pantry and blessed the building.
