Marvin F. Webb

Marvin F. Webb, 80, of Franklin, Texas passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 at his home. He was born on June 9, 1937 in Marquette, Michigan to Joseph and Burnadette Webb. He received his education at Marquette High School and married Arlene Juntunen on August 26, 1955 in Munising, Michigan. Marvin was a carpenter by trade and had been a resident of Robertson County for the past 34 years previously living in Houston. He was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Burnadette Webb; Son, Jimmy Webb; brother, Robert Webb; sister, Betty Jerzikowski and great grandson, Issac Mikulin Marvin was a carpenter by trade but was also an entertainer at heart. He was a member of several bands since the age of 15. Marvin was locally known by the name “Starvin Marvin”. He and his New Baden Drifters entertained folks at numerous venues but mostly the New Baden Jamboree. Marvin was best known for yodeling. He was also an avid hunter and trapper and loved the outdoors. These loves were only rivaled by his love for his wife of 62 years, Arlene. He is survived by his Wife, Arlene L. Webb of Franklin; Daughter and Son-in-law, Lori and Bill Cazey of Franklin; 2 Grandchildren, Bobby James Mikulin, Jr. and wife, Danielle and Rachel Aleese Cazey; 2 Great Grandchildren, Dakota Cherico and Kellan James Mikulin. A visitation was held on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCauley Funeral Home. Services were held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the McCauley Funeral Chapel in Franklin. Burial followed in the New Baden Cemetery.
