Cooper Williams

I was born on May 7, 2009 in Griffin, Georgia, but I got to Texas as fast as I could. I moved to College Station in 2010. I was in the third grade, but had big plans to be a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2031, because as we all know, the Longhorns stink! My parents named me Cooper, but I had a lot of cool nicknames like “Super Cooper,” “Coopie Dean,” “Coop,” “Stinger,” “Nails,” and my mom used to call me “Sweet Baby Cooper” when she talked about me to her class. I had a lot of friends, and people liked to be around me. I always had a good time playing baseball, even when we lost. My parents taught me that being a good sport was just as important as winning, so I made sure to congratulate my teammates and shake the other teams’ hands. One of my best days ever was when I got to guest coach the Aggies. It was awesome and my favorite photo was from that day. When I wasn’t in school, I spent a lot of time outside with my dogs. We had a great time exploring and hiking around the area. I liked school, and always made good grades, probably because all my teachers liked how inquisitive I was. I especially loved to tell stories, and I even won second place in a UIL competition for it, which was pretty cool. I liked comic books, and even made up a new character named Insectoid who is being released soon as a villain of Agriman. I liked to think things through and had big plans for my life. There was never any question that I would attend Texas A&M and I was going to be a member of the Corps of Cadets. After I graduated, I was going to become an Air Force pilot and then an engineer. After I made tons of money, I was going to retire and be a rancher. Even though none of that got to happen, I still had a great life, ending on my OTHER best day, Wednesday, December 20, 2017, I got to meet Jesus face to face. I am leaving behind my parents, Michael Williams and Jen Strong; my stepparents, Jennifer and Robert; my sister, Brenna; my stepsister, Ayla Wolf; my paternal grandparents, James and Freda Williams; my maternal grandparents, Gary and Kathy Best; lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, and tons of friends. My parents planned a Celebration Gathering “Coop Style” of course on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hillier Funeral Home of COLLEGE STATION. Maroon Out and definitely do not wear a tie. Same goes for my Celebration Services on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 which will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Franklin Church of Christ. My burial will be at the Aggie Field of Honor right after the service. If you have some funny story or memory, check out my tribute page at
