Teaching... More than meets the eye

If you look at how things are in society, it is my opinion that more attention should go to those brave, energetic, and dedicated professionals who go about their jobs mostly unnoticed and unrewarded for their efforts.

Not a lot of people today give the teaching profession the proper respect that it deserves. It’s not the easiest job by any stretch of the imagination and is even more difficult in the public school sector. Not everyone can be a successful public school teacher, even some of those who are currently in the profession.

It’s not how much knowledge a person may possess about a particular subject that makes them a good teacher. You can’t measure the value of a teacher based on their knowledge.
