Jeanne Ann (Williams) Wierzbicki went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan. Jeanne was born to Annie Pearl (Taylor) and R. B. “Blaine” Williams at their home in Hammond, Texas on October 24, 1949. Jeanne attended Bremond schools and graduated as Bremond High School’s salutatorian in 1968. She later furthered her education at Temple Junior College, Blinn College and Texas A&M University.
Quayle V. Cassels, Jr., 69, of Meadville, MS, died on December 28, 2020, at UMMC in Jackson, MS.
Quayle was born November 6, 1951, son of Aline Wilkinson and Quayle Cassels, Sr.
Robert L. Edwards, aged 92, passed away on December 30, 2020. Robert was known as “Lurell” or “Lou” by most of his family and friends. He was born on December 6, 1928 in Franklin, TX.
Badie Vaughn Sawyer, Jr., 70, of League City, Texas, passed away on December 21, 2020 in Pasadena, Texas. Vaughn was born November 23, 1950 in New Orleans, Louisiana to loving parents Badie Vaughn Sawyer, Sr. and Mae Etta Sawyer. Soon after his birth, the family moved to Hearne, Texas where he was raised, fell in love with his high school sweetheart and married Barbara Ann Franks on June 26, 1971.
Alica Anna Jurca Schroeder passed away peacefully on December 20, 2020 at the age of 93. She was born to Frances and Frank Jurca in Needville, Texas. She attended school in Needville and graduated from Richmond High School in 1945. Alice worked at Dow Chemical for four years, and during that time, Leland Schroeder, also from Needville, began to court her. She married Leland in 1948 and they moved to Houston, where they raised their family. She instilled in her six children values of spirituality, honesty and hard work. Alice ensured that faith and spirituality were engrained in all that the family did. Her faith is a gift to be passed down for generations.
