Annie Mae Fulton
Annie Mae Fulton was born on June 21, 1916 in Benchley, Texas to Ben and Lela Warren Garrett. She passed away on Thursday, April 27, 2017 in Rockwall, Texas at the age of 100 years. She received her education in Benchley and married Joe Langford Fulton in 1936. Annie was a homemaker and a life-long resident of Robertson County. She was an avid gardener. Her church, family and garden were her priorities and had a love for the outdoors. She was also a very good seamstress and made prom dresses for her daughters as well as winning first places ribbons in the Robertson County Fair for many of her sewing projects. Annie was a devoted member of the Five Points Baptist Church for approximately 80 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Lela Warren Garrett; her husband, Joe Langford Fulton in 1978; siblings, Johnny Larkin Garrett, Jim Garrett, Bonner Garrett, Emory Garrett and Amy Williams. She is survived by her Children, Jonelle Faulkner of Rowlett and Dorothy Carrigan of Rockwall; Grandchildren, Danny Faulkner and wife Debbie, Melanie Pope and husband Jon, Pamela Tomalin and husband Chris and Tara Denham and husband Michael; 11 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren, Siblings, Don Garrett of Bryan, Jack Garrett of Spring and Ernest Garrett of Everett, Washington. Services will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Five Points Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. and Dana Altimore will officiate. A visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until Service time at the church Wednesday. Burial will follow in the Norwood Cemetery in Hearne.
