ALICA ANNA JURCA SCHROEDER

Alica Anna Jurca Schroeder passed away peacefully on December 20, 2020 at the age of 93. She was born to Frances and Frank Jurca in Needville, Texas. She attended school in Needville and graduated from Richmond High School in 1945. Alice worked at Dow Chemical for four years, and during that time, Leland Schroeder, also from Needville, began to court her. She married Leland in 1948 and they moved to Houston, where they raised their family. She instilled in her six children values of spirituality, honesty and hard work. Alice ensured that faith and spirituality were engrained in all that the family did. Her faith is a gift to be passed down for generations.

Joe Kenneth Withers, age 74, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, December 14, 2020 in Stockdale, TX. Joe was born to Joe D and Alma (Ansley) Withers in Teague, TX on September 18, 1946.

Marian Bishop Martine

Marian Floy (Bishop) Martine was born in Robertson County on July 20, 1923 to William Elisha Bishop and Minnie Lee Bishop. She was the youngest of 4 living children, 2 siblings died in infancy. She died of complication of a stoke on December 7, 2020 at the age of 97 years and 5 months.

ZANE EDWARD WALLACE

ZANE EDWARD WALLACE

Zane Edward Wallace passed to his heavenly home on November 23, 2020. Zane is survived by his wife Virginia Corn Wallace of 52 years and 11 months. He was the love of her life. He is preceded in death by his parents Zane and Mary Helen Kummer Wallace, also Virginia’s parents Wilson and Doris Mandrell Corn. Zane was honored to serve his country in the U.S Army. He served from 1966 to 1970. He was stationed in Hanau, Germany. After Virginia and Zane married she joined him in Hanau and they lived there until the end of his service. Zane served in the 3rd Armored Division Artillery. During this time he was a senior message center clerk.
