What the Franklin Lions needed most on Tuesday night in their Bi-District game was a little better luck, poise, or skill at the free throw line.

In a game where points were valuable the Lions went ice cold from the free throw line and fell to the Whitney Wildcats 66-58.

It was a close contest for most of three quarters as the teams traded baskets, missed opportunities, and turnovers. Franklin trailed at the halftime by one point 29-28 after a disappointing shooting performance from the field and at the free throw line.
