When he tore his ACL back in September, you had to wonder if he would get back to run track this spring. When he came back just three months later to play in the State Championship, catching a touchdown as the Tigers won their third consecutive Football Title, you thought with this kid anything could be possible.

He just might be able to come back and defend his title in track in both the 200 and the 100-meters.

You realized also that even if he did would he be healthy enough to run fast enough to hold off all challengers. One thing for certain, the University of Houston felt he was one of the top sprinters in the nation and signed him to a track Scholarship. A school long in tradition with sprint champions felt he could become one of those guys.
